Chyreen Fruit Farm
Cornwall TR3 6LN
We are a small farm specialising in fresh, quality produce for our customers. We mainly grow outdoor fruit. The majority of our produce is sold ready picked, direct to the public from our shop along with a selection of locally grown fresh vegetables.
If you prefer to Pick Your Own - Gooseberries, Redcurrants and Blackcurrants are available for you to pick in season.
The PYO season usually runs from mid-June until late July. Check this site to see what’s ready. If you're driving past, check our large signs beside the main road on either side of the village. We change these daily to show many of the items we are selling - There isn't enough room to show everything. To be sure you don't miss anything, register for our e-mail newsletter.
The shop is only open from April until October. We do not have a fixed closing time. Occasionally we may sell out of fruit during a busy weekend. To avoid disappointment you may order your fruit by phone. Any orders not collected by 2.00pm may be sold, unless arrangements are made at the time of placing the order. Sunday opening may be mornings only in the early and late season and not at all in April and October. To be sure, ring before travelling.
Chyreen started life as a Fruit Farm in 1971 when Tommy and Ann Amos moved here from Kent. They planted most of the land with Apples, Raspberries, Blackcurrants and Strawberries.
We took over the business in 1986.
